Browse the Viennale 2026 program together

Browsing through and commenting on this year's Viennale program together so that you will have your ticket wish list and your personal Viennale program ready.

Somehow it never worked for me recently, to browse through everything beforehand.

I usually forget and then I know: Ah, it starts at ten o'clock and then at nine o'clock I start frantically leafing through the catalog and roughly thinking about what's going on where and when.

Many years ago, there were a few times when we had a preliminary meeting at werkzeugH, where we discussed the current catalog together on stage with a few people who were regular Viennale visitors.

Including watching trailers and discussing film theory.

Since we did this with the microphone on stage, the other guests were always insanely disturbed after a while because they didn't want to know which Finnish director had shot a documentary in Kazakhstan whose new film would be worth seeing again.

After the Viennale Program Basteling in 2025, we are getting together again this year – in the headphone format.

So: pack your headphones and come by on Thursday, October 15, discuss the program together, maybe get together for "20er Blöcke"

See you then !
